Douze Zéro Deux regularly organises fun and festive events, open to all. Students have a unique opportunity to meet Genevans and practice French within a warm atmosphere.

During these events, French speakers and non-French speakers got to know each other and spoke for a few hours. A concept which has proved its worth! You don’t need to be one of our students to participate: come and attend the next event to meet us!

Erdal Özkan
Erdal founded Douze Zero Deux in 2013. He has been working in teaching and education since 2001 and is a qualified teacher. Erdal is a native French speaker from Geneva. He is fluent in English and can speak German and Italian.

I had the pleasure of studying French with Erdal while preparing for the Permit C requirements and recently taking the FIDE exam. Over approximately 20 hours of online lessons, he was incredibly reliable, friendly, and focused. I had the pleasure of learning from Erdal as my private French tutor, and I highly recommend him. He provided one-to-one lessons, coming to my home, and was extremely flexible and accommodating. Scheduling was very easy thanks to his website and online calendar, and he was always understanding when I needed to adjust lesson times or locations due to my personal situation. Erdal creates a natural atmosphere for conversation, makes you want to say what is on your mind and brings forth the French in you. His insider information and tips on where to go and what to do in Geneva can be seen as the most important homework: meet the locals and use your French while doing what you like. In this way, and with the additional exercises, targeted specifically at my weaknesses, I felt my French improved greatly in a very short time.
